The Leontine from Bremen
This arrival with 150 passengers, was announced yesterday. The Leontine has had a fine passage of 94 days from port to port, having sailed from Bremen on the 10th May and arriving in the waters of Port Adelaide late last evening (the 13th). The particulars of passengers and cargo will be found in our shipping columns. This Vessel brings no later English news than that published on Monday and Yesterday.
... the same day, Tuesday August 13th.— The ship Leontine, 650 tons, Ariaans Master, from Bremen 10th May, Passengers:— Miss Pauline Redtel ; Mr. and Mrs. Hierenther ; Mr. Carl Endler in the cabin.

The Bremen ship Leontine was built at Vegesack / Grohn by Johann Lange for the Bremen firm of D.H. Wätjen & Co., and was launched on 19 April 1844.
The Leontine appears to have sailed under the Norwegian flag until 1879. The Weser-Zeitung of 20 January 1879 prints the following report: Vestervig, 17 January. The bark LEONTINE, Gundersen, from and for Tönsberg, from London, in ballast, stranded on the local coast and became a total wreck. The crew was saved.
