THE PETER GODEFFROY.
The above vessel is from Hamburg, via the Cape. She left the former port on the 28th July, with a full complement of cargo and passengers, and on reaching Cape Town 150 of the latter disembarked at that colony. The vacated space was then filled up with cargo, and she has made a favorable voyage thence. She arrived here late on Friday night, and, in consequence of the wind falling light she came to anchor several miles distant from the jetty, but subsequently, weighed and stood in towards the Stations, when she received a pilot on board, and would have proceeded at once into the harbor but for the heavy weather of Saturday. She has on board a quantity of cargo for Melbourne, but that will most probably be forwarded by steamer.

IMPORTED STOCK.-The Peter Godeffroy has on board 15 pure Merino rams, selected with great one from the flocks in Curasse. There are also on board four Cape sheep, which are rather a novel importation.

An index from the State Library South Australia (SLSA) shows that 39 German migrants should have been on the Peter Godeffroy for Port Adelaide, I have been able to find 39 as listed below — Regards Robert.

note.— There are very few surviving original lists of German passengers, so the data below has been compiled from a variety of sources, such as contemporary newspaper(s), internet sources, input from descendants and the South Australian Heraldry Genealogy society, (SAGHS).
I know the list is incomplete and may contain errors, so any feedback with additions or corrections, will be most appreciated. Please contact me using the link above. Regards Robert, Adelaide
