barque Steinwaerder, 248 tons, Commander O. Ericksen, from Hamburg 20th May 1863 via Cape of Good Hope 27th August 1863, arrived at Port Adelaide 9th October 1863 ... the Hamburg passenger list shows the Captain as "M. E. Ericksen" and vessel name spelled Steinwärder.

Friday, October 09. —STEINWARDER, barque, 248 tons, O. Ericksen. master, from Hamburg May 20 via Cape of Good Hope August 27. Amsberg and Co., Town ; Mocatta, Port agents.
Passengers—
From Hamburg : Miss Emma Homburg and Otto Jacobs [and Ferd.] Spmelzdopf [sic], in the cabin ; and 32 in the steerage.
From the Cape : Mr. Finlay Hogarth, in the cabin ; and 11 in the steerage.

 
IMPORTS
STEINWARDER, from Hamburg via the Cape of Good Hope — 500 boxes of raisins from the Cape, Acraman, Main, Lindsay and Co. ; and miscellaneous Hamburg cargo.

An index from the State Library South Australia (SLSA) shows that 34 German migrants should have been on the Steinwaerder for Port Adelaide, I have been able to find 34, plus 2 seamen, as listed below.— Regards Robert.
