Booras Steamship Company 1923

The Booras Steamship Company was a one ship enterprise and was founded in 1923 by the Greek American Booras brothers when they bought the ACROPOLIS from the American Black Sea Line (Stephendis, Benas & Co.) and renamed her WASHINGTON.
The WASHINGTON undertook two round voyages from New York to Piraeus and Constantinople, but her earnings did not come up to expectations and she was sold only to be scrapped a year later in Italy.
