The Fleets

Canadian Steam Navigation Co.

A short lived company formed in 1853 to operate a mail and passenger service between Liverpool and Canada / Portland. The operation was not a success, mostly due to the company attempting to run an exacting mail service with underpowered steamers and the service ended in March 1855.

Many thanks to Ted Finch for his assistance in collecting this data. The following list was extracted from various sources. This is not an all inclusive list but should only be used as a guide.
