The Fleets

Hellenic Transatlantic Line
(not to be confused with the Hellenic Transatlantic Steam Navigation Co)

Passenger service between Greece, Mediterranean ports, Bermuda and New York started in 1907 by D. G. Moraitis, Andros who also owned a fleet of freighters. The depression in passenger traffic in 1907 caused the company to go bankrupt in 1908 and the company's ships and liabilities were taken over by the Hellenic Transatlantic Steam Navigation Co
