The Fleets

Northwest Transport Line

Formed 1909 by Petersen & Co., London and was largely a revival of the New York & Continental Line with an injection of new capital. Passenger sailings were between Hamburg, Rotterdam, Halifax and New York. The line was later acquired by the Canadian Northern Railway Company and the company name was discontinued in 1910 and replaced by Uranium Steamship Co.

Many thanks to Ted Finch for his assistance in collecting this data. The following list was extracted from various sources. This is not an all inclusive list but should only be used as a guide. If you would like to know more about a vessel, visit the Ship Descriptions (onsite) or the Immigrant Ship web site.
