The Fleets

Oldenburg Portuguese Line / Oldenburg Portugiesische Dampschiffs Rhederei

This company was founded in Oldenburg, Germany in 1880 by Auguste Schultze and Hermann Burmester to operate passenger and cargo services between North European ports and Portugal, Spain, Morocco, Madeira and the Canary Islands. Apart from breaks for the two World Wars, it has run continuously and still operates.
