Maritimos do Estado / Portuguese State Steamship Line
In 1916 Portugal seized German ships lying in Portuguese ports and between 1919 and 1921
made a few passenger crossings between Lisbon, Azores and Boston / New York. Two of the
1921 voyages also called at New Bedford, Mass. with passengers. The service ceased in 1921.
Many thanks to Ted Finch for his assistance in collecting this data.
