The Fleets

Société Postale Francaise de L'Atlantique

The Société Postale Francaise de L'Atlantique operated a short lived service between France, Canada and Brazil in 1882 with two chartered steamers. They then ceased trading. Both ships were built in 1882 and were returned to Chargeurs Reunis the same year after these chartered voyages.

Ville de Para 1882 1882 chartered from Chargeurs Reunis and made one voyage Havre - Quebec - Halifax - Rio de Janeiro. She then made a round voyage between Rio - Halifax - Boston before proceeding direct to Havre, 1884 sank at Las Palmas. 2,356
