note: For this trip only, the full adult steerage fare (only between Quebec and Montreal), has been reduced from ten shillings to eight shillings and sixpence. Other steerage fares between way-ports was unaffected, as were cabin fares. This may have been due to competition, or, a special arrangement for passengers arriving at Quebec on a certain sailing vessel. There are no margin notes to give an indication.
