ship Pons Ælii sailed from Cork April 7th 1834 / arr. May 19th 1834
There is no passenger list surviving. There were 138 male adults, 71 female adults, 20 children under 14 years and 17 children under 7 years, and 14 crew members, with the Master, George Havelock. the Health Officer, G.J. Harding, M.D. made this statement, signed May 17th 1834. "I hereby certify that the passengers inspected by me on board of the Pons Ælii corresponds with the foregoing list excepting for six full passengers additional, not on the list, and there were also twelve absent, who died on passage."
