Welsh Settlers to Shelburne, N.S. 1818
Muster Roll of Welch [sic] Emigrants on board the schooner
Two Brothers, Jonathan Fowler, master, bound to Shelburne for the purpose
of settling there. ~ 15th June 1818 ~
The Welsh settlers
are thought to have come from Carmarthen and Cardigan, and to have sailed
from Carmarthen aboard the brig Fanny,
and arrived at Halifax in May 1818 after a passage of 42 days.

I acknowledge to have received on board the schooner Two
Brothers myself master, all the articles enumerated
in the annexed abstract for the use of the Welch Emigrants, all in
good order, which I promise and engage to deliver unto John Richards
at Shelburne. He paying the freight for the same & for the passengers
and their baggage as per agreement with Michael Wallace and
James Fraser agents for government.
