The Fleets

New York & Continental Line

The company was established by Robertson, Shankland & Co, London in 1907, basically to carry grain and flour to Europe, but made an unsuccesful attempt to enter the emigrant trade between Hamburg, Rotterdam, Halifax and New York. The service closed after a few voyages.
