The Fleets

Polish American Navigation Corporation / (Polsko-Amerykanskie Towarzystwo Zeglugi Morskiej)

Founded in New York in 1919 to operate a cargo service between New York and Danzig. In Dec.1920 a passenger ship was purchased from Green Star SS Co., New York and made 10 passenger voyages between New York and Danzig. New U.S immigration laws drastically cut passenger numbers and the service ceased in Jan.1922 and the company closed.

Many thanks to Ted Finch for his assistance in collecting this data. The following list was extracted from various sources. This is not an all inclusive list but should only be used as a guide. If you would like to know more about a vessel, visit the Ship Descriptions (onsite) or Immigrant Ship web site.
