Morwenna, Black Diamond Steamship Co., Captain Luke Holmes
St. John's, Nfld. 1914-08-01, Sydney, N.S. 1914-08-03, Montreal, Que.
1914-08-[07]
I have transcribed this passenger list as an example of
the Sydney, Nova Scotia records. Mostly the arrivals were of "ferry-type"
ships, between Newfoundland and Nova Scotia, however, this ship, and
another Black Diamond ship, City of Sydney, continued
to Montreal during 1913-1914. There are no copies of these lists on
the Quebec microfilm reels, but the Montreal destined passengers are
found on the Sydney, N.S. microfilms. There is no room to include all
31 manifest fields on this webpage, but I will include all pertinent
information in a "Remarks" field. I have also placed the last-name first,
for easier searching.
