Omitted from manifest of Clara 1 case. Sawtell and Son; 3 cases, P. Folk and Co., should be 8 Cases.....
The CLARA, with Government immigrants, made a most excellent passage from Plymouth of 85 days ; but even this rapidity was eclipsed by her last voyage, when she reached Fremantle in 72. By reference to the log the weather experienced has been very fine, and only three or four entries of boisterous winds are made. The line was crossed on March I, and the Cape passed on the 28th of the same month, from which point the progress along the Southern Ocean has been tedious from the continuation of light variable breezes. She was towed into harbor at sundown on Tuesday. |
