note: from September 10th 1824, to the end of navigation season for the year, the cost of steerage passage was halved aboard steamboat New Swiftsure. ; from September 17th the cabin fare was reduced from 2/10/- to 2/-/- and from October, further reduced to 1/10/-, with another reduction to 1/5/- on October 29th. For this final trip of the 1824 navigation season, cabin fare rose again to 2/-/- and steerage fare doubled to the usual summer fare of -/10/-
